FFKC: Tell us about your wedding! Who helped you put it together?

Anna: Our whimsical wedding was September 2, 2017 at Fairlane Station in Springdale, AR.  It is a beautiful quirky location with so much character and I highly recommend it!  Our caterer was Catering Unlimited also located in Springdale, AR and they did an excellent job – all of my guests said the food was amazing!

Zuzu’s Petals located in Fayettville, AR did the flowers and they were incredibly beautiful.  Bizzy B’s Bakery in Rogers, AR made the cakes and they were almost completely eaten at the end of the night.  My bridesmaids wore BCBG dresses purchased at Dillards and the men’s suits were rented at Men’s Wearhouse.  My husband purchased a custom designed suit from INDOCHINO and they stitched his name and wedding date on the inside of the coat.  Erin Covey was our wedding planner and Courtney Glaser was our photographer.

FFKC: How did you pick your wedding gown?

Anna: I started my search for the perfect whimsical wedding dress with something very specific in my mind, but I found that the more dresses I tried on the more my ideal dress changed.  Ultimately I ended up finding a designer that I just fell in love with, all of her dresses fit my body beautifully and made me feel very special.  Unfortunately the designer I chose was very hard to find in my area and also the dresses in her collection were more than twice my budget.

I started doing some research and found a store only a couple hours away from me that carried my designer’s dresses, and not only that but they sold sample dresses at a discounted rate.  I was completely thrilled the first time I stepped into Fabulous Frocks, it is a beautiful store and Angela makes you feel right at home.  I highly recommend Fabulous Frocks, it was totally worth a weekend trip to find the dress of my dreams.

FFKC: Any advice to future brides?

Anna: Make lots of lists and ask for help.  It’s going to be stressful but if you let people help you it will be so much easier.  Being married is the best thing that ever happened to me.  Best wishes to all the future brides out there!
