Happy Friday, Brides! Although it’s spring, we love hearing from our Fab Frocks brides that had a fall wedding! One of our Fab Frocks Brides, Kayla, had a beautiful fall wedding surrounded by friends and family! As lovers of love stories, we asked Kayla how she met her husband, Zac. Kayla told us she and Zac knew each other for a very long time and reconnected! Kayla’s best friend, who was also Zac’s next door neighbor, passed away a couple years ago and they believe she played a part in bringing Kayla and Zac back together. Kayla and Zac celebrated their love on November 1st, 2019 and we can’t wait to share some of their gorgeous wedding memories and photos!

 

Kayla’s Wedding:

Kayla had a stunning fall wedding at Eighteen Ninety filled with family, friends, and lasting memories! They had beautiful colors throughout their wedding including navy, blush, taupe, and wine! Kayla says her favorite memory from her wedding day was the time spent with her wedding party in between the ceremony and reception. They spent time hanging out, laughing, and drinking! Kayla said the time spent with her wedding party was exactly what she needed after planning a wedding, “It was like *whew* the tough stuff is over, now it’s time to party with everyone!”

After Kayla’s elegant outdoor ceremony, she and her new husband partied the night away with family and friends!

Kayla’s Dress:

Kayla wore a beautiful, fit-to-flair, lace Mikaella wedding gown! Her Mikaella gown had a flattering plunging neckline, spaghetti straps, and a stunning low back! After Kayla found her perfect dress, she chose one of our favorite sashes, complete with Swarovski crystals and pearls! In addition to her gown and sash to match, she also chose a beautiful Mikaella veil with a blusher layer to add extra volume! Kayla told us how she knew she found the perfect dress, “My dress was the first one I ever tried on! I just kept coming back to it and I loved it because it made me feel beautiful & comfortable at the same time!”

Kayla’s advice for future brides:

Wedding planning can be difficult, however it can always be helpful to hear advice from real brides! We asked Kayla for her advice for future brides:  “Planning can be stressful, but it’s your day. Make it about you celebrating your future partner and yourself. Many people will have lots of opinions. Be true to who you are – if you want to keep things simple? There’s no reason you can’t! All about big and extravagant? This is your one day to be over-the-top! Everyone will love it either way!”
