Happy Friday! We recently caught up with Fab Frocks Bride, Abigail Hochuli to talk all about her wedding last Fall!

Okay but first, let’s talk about the newlyweds. Abigail met her husband Matt through a wedding party that they were both a part of about 5 years ago. Fast forward to when the two reconnected several years later on a dating app. Shoutout to Hinge 🙂

Our Real Bride’s Day

When we asked Abigail to describe their day, it was hard to put into words! “How do you describe your best day in just a few sentences?! It’s so hard! But ultimately it was a culmination of our favorite people meeting up in one of our favorite places to just celebrate, eat a lot of tacos and dance all night long! One of the coolest parts was getting to showcase my hometown to everyone. I don’t think anyone expected there to be such a fun wedding venue in a small town like Ottawa, but they all loved it!”

Finding Her Frock

“I absolutely loved my dress shopping experience with the gals at Fabulous Frocks. They make every piece of the process a celebratory moment and ultimately that’s what got me in the right frame of mind to select a dress. I had such a wide range of ideas when it came to picking a dress and they really helped me hone in on the things I loved so that I could make the best decision for me. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!”

Advice from a Real Bride

Now that her big day has come and gone, Abigail provided some amazing advice for our future brides! “My biggest advice to anyone wedding planning – do what YOU want to do. Fill your day with the things that make you happy and remember to have fun! If you hire vendors that you trust to bring your vision to life, you can take on the day with ease. That is exactly what we were able to do and I’m filled with so much joy looking back on the photos of our wedding day.”
