Meet our Manager, Rachel!

Hi Brides! We have exciting news to share! Last week, our consultant Rachel was promoted to the boutique manager! Rachel is excited to continue working with brides! Read on to learn more about her and some of her favorite things about her job!
How long have you worked in bridal?
“I started working in bridal as an intern in 2020! I was home in Cleveland, Ohio, and got an internship at a bridal shop there! It opened my eyes to the world of bridal, and I immediately knew that I wanted to be in the industry!”
Rachel attended Lipscomb University for Fashion and Interior Merchandising.
“When I first started college, I thought I wanted to do childrenswear!” However, once she interned at the bridal shop in Ohio, she knew bridal was the career path for her.
“I started at Fabulous Frocks as a part time consultant in early 2021,” she said. “Once I graduated from college, I started working full time!”
What is your favorite part of your job?
“There are so many wonderful things about my job! I love the team that I work with, and getting to train new consultants. Making posts for our social media is also something that I really enjoy! I love getting to show off the different gowns on our Instagram and TikTok accounts.
However, my absolute favorite part of the job is helping brides find their dream dress! I truly believe that every gown has a personality, and I love helping my brides find the gown that makes them feel like the best version of themselves!”
How has your time so far at Fab Frocks helped you grow?
“I would say that my job has helped me grow most as a listener! I often say that finding the dress is like a puzzle, because brides have different elements of dresses that they like. It’s my job to find the dress that combines everything they are looking for and makes them feel their very best! It takes intentionality and thoughtful listening to help them accomplish that!
The job has also helped me grow in confidence as a leader! I started as a part time consultant, like I said, and since then, I’ve moved up through different roles of leadership. I am so grateful for the opportunity, and appreciate the privilege I get to help other consultants grow in their positions!”
What is your advice to future brides?
“Don’t stress! Finding your dress should be fun and easy, and your consultant is there to help make shopping a breeze! Trust them in the process!”
