Hi Brides! The Fab Frocks girls love to help brides find their perfect gown! Each bride is very unique and needs a gown to reflect their individuality! Our real Fab Frocks bride, Beth, wanted a dress unlike any other that would fit her fun personality! We’re so excited to share Beth’s customized dress and stunning unique wedding details with all of you!

 

Beth’s Wedding:

Beth and her husband, Brennon, met on Tinder and had sushi on their first date! Beth and Brennon have such fun personalities and they wanted to make sure their unique wedding reflected that! Brennon and Beth tied the knot on November 9th, 2019 at Cellar 222 in Kansas City, Missouri.

“My favorite part of the day, other than getting married of course, was doing our first look! It took so much pressure off and was nice to be able to just spend some time together before the ceremony.  I also had so much fun dancing with my friends! We really wanted everyone to let loose and have a good time and that’s exactly how it turned out!”

Beth’s Unique Wedding Touches:

“Our top priority for our wedding was just to have fun, honestly. While we wanted a kind of a modern and upscale feel, we didn’t want anything too stuffy. We also really wanted a lot of personal touches. For instance, we served pizza for dinner, had napkins printed with our cats on them since they obviously couldn’t attend, and gave out jars of honey as favors because my husband loves bees! We basically wanted a big party vibe, and that’s exactly what we got!”

We also asked Beth if she had any sentimental touches to her wedding:  “One of the big sentimental details from the wedding is my necklace. It’s vintage, from the 30s, and I’m actually the 4th generation in my family to get married wearing it. I’m also very excited to have the chance to return the favor for my best friend/ maid of honor and be the maid of honor at her wedding next year!”

Beth’s Dress:

We had such an amazing time helping Beth find her dream dress! She wanted something that no other bride would have that fit her personality! Beth fell in love with an A-line Jasmine dress with floral lace and beading throughout the straps and bodice! To make the dress even more unique to Beth, we customized the gown to be blush with black lace!

We asked Beth how she knew she found her dress:  “I actually knew this was the dress on the hanger! It was the first dress I tried on and I just kept comparing everything to it. Obviously I made a few alterations to make it really mine, but it was exactly what I was looking for!”

Beth’s Advice for Future Brides:

“As far as advice goes I would say just to relax and try to enjoy it. Don’t sweat the small stuff, people will remember if the food was good and they had fun, they won’t be analyzing your centerpieces! Also, do what you and your partner really want. Our wedding wasn’t the most traditional but it was very “us” and we are so glad we did things the way we wanted.”
