Timing is Everything

We always say, first the venue, then your dress, then you can handle the rest! If time allows, we recommend that once your date is set, you book a Fab Frocks appointment anywhere from eight to twelve months before your big day. This will allow for you to do your shopping, #findyourfrock, and get your dress ordered, all while still allowing plenty of time for any remaining alterations! Your shopping experience is important to us and we want to make sure that we are giving you all the options we can, along with having enough time to order your dress so it best fits you! 

However, if you have a quicker time frame than usual, no need to worry! We have various styles available off the rack, and even some designers that allow us to pull from stock! No matter when your big day is, we’ve got you covered.

Let’s Talk Money, Honey

We know that wedding budgets are no joke, and sometimes money can be a touchy subject if the bride isn’t the one paying. That said, it is SO important to have an idea of a realistic budget that will allow you to shop for a dress that makes all of your dreams come true! The last thing we want to happen is for you to fall in love with a dress that is over your realistic budget. So, be real!

To give you an idea, before you book a Fab Frocks appointment, dresses at Fab Frocks start at $1,500 and go up from there. So let’s ask yourself, what does a wedding dress budget mean to you? Is that just your wedding dress? Or does your wedding dress budget include the dress, accessories (veil, earrings, ect.) and alterations? Those are things to consider when you are thinking about your budget. Your stylist will confirm budget with you several times before you even put a dress on, just to make sure we are all on the same page and there are no surprises! Make sure you have a good plan in place, and the rest will be easy peasy!

Round Up Your Group

We know this is an exciting time and there are some very important people in your life you’d like to share this experience with, so be sure to plan ahead! When you book a Fab Frocks appointment, make sure to book a time when you know you will be able to have all of your important people there with you.

Finding your frock happens a lot easier, and faster than you may think! Once you put on “the one”, the feeling is one of a kind, and it can’t be replicated! So, don’t you want to have everyone there when it happens?!
