Summer is in full swing here in Nashville, and we can’t wait to see all the wedding photos from our Fab Frocks Brides! Today we are so excited to share the details of Caroline’s dreamy summer wedding!

The Details

Caroline and Brandon were married in late June of 2023. “It was a very HOT but very sunny beautiful day!” she shared.

The wedding took place at Tuckers Gap Event Center. Fields & Freckles Photography captured the dreamy summer wedding. LL Floral provided the blooms for the day.

The bridesmaids wore vibrant pink gowns from Bella’s Bridal and Formal in Hoover, AL, while the groomsmen wore black suits.

The Dress

Caroline came to Fabulous Frocks in November of 2022. She had previously been to our boutique with a friend, and had two friends who were also Fab Frocks Brides!

“My first priority in finding a dress was feeling beautiful and unique!” Caroline shared of her dress vision. She loved romantic and feminine details, but was open to trying styles.

“My experience was so lovely,” she recalled of her time at the boutique. “I was nervous about trying on dresses, but had been to Fabulous Frocks a few times with friends, so I knew I was going to be taken care of. Rachel exceeded my expectations as she showed me different options and helped me decide what I loved and didn’t love about each one I tried on.”

Caroline tried a variety of styles and determined that she liked A-lines with lace. “After trying on my first batch, I pulled out a picture of a dress I had saved from Fabulous Frocks’ Instagram and that was the one Rachel had grabbed for me to try on next! And of course, it ended up being the one!”

Caroline said yes to a square neck A-line by Lillian West. She paired the lace gown with tulle shoulder bows and a soft tulle veil from Sara Gabriel. It perfectly fit the vibe of the dreamy summer wedding!

Advice for Brides

Caroline advises brides-to-be to enjoy every moment of the wedding day!

“I heard this so much, but it is so true. It’s easy to get bogged down by the planning and decisions,” she said. “Remind yourself why you are doing all this and recognize all the effort people are putting in to make your day special! Especially the day of!”

“If I could relive that day again and again I would,” the bride said.

The Wedding

Wildberry Catering catered the dreamy summer wedding reception. Meanwhile, Josh Duerksen was the DJ for the wedding.

Caroline shared that the couple’s favorite part of the day was having all of their loved ones in one place. “It is so special to see everyone come together and celebrate our love,” she continued. “That is not something you get to experience every day and we felt so loved. And had a BLAST. I will cherish those memories forever.”

The couple honeymooned in Punta Cana at an Excellence resort. “It was so wonderful,” she shared. “We have not been that relaxed in our whole lives. All-inclusive resorts are the way to go!”

In looking back at the details of the day, Caroline shared that everything went smoothly — except for one *almost* disaster!

“While getting ready, my sister and maid of honor had my husband’s wedding band on her finger,” Caroline explained. “Somehow in the midst of fluffing dresses and doing last minute touch ups, she lost his ring (a valuable family ring by the way!).”

“As we are waiting for the ceremony to start, she starts running around the venue trying to find it. She comes up to me as the music is starting and begins to rifle through my skirt. AND THERE WAS THE RING! Nestled in the skirt of my dress. We couldn’t believe it! The rest of the day went off without a hitch and the dress saved the day.”
