Today we are excited to share the details of Fab Frocks Bride Emily’s dreamy December wedding!
The couple was married in late December in Huntsville, Alabama.
“I had an outdoor wedding ceremony on the afternoon of December 30th, so it was very chilly but beautiful!” Emily shared.
Burritt on the Mountain was the venue for the dreamy December wedding.
Suzi Day Photo photographed the day. Meanwhile, H&M by Cait did hair and makeup.
Emily took her bridal photos at The Parisian by Noëlla. Old Frond provided florals for the day, while Courtney Burton Events was the planner.
“We started getting ready at the venue at 6 am, so I got to see the vendors put everything together from start to finish,” said Emily. “We had our ceremony at 3 pm and it was followed with dinner and lots of dancing!”
The bride described the day as dreamy, joyous, and snowy!
Emily came to Fabulous Frocks with her mom, mother in law, and sister in law. She was looking for a sleek and classic ball gown for the dreamy December wedding.
“I knew going into it that I didn’t want lace or many accessories on my dress,” she said. “I also wanted a dress that looked similar to my mom’s wedding dress.”
Emily tried a variety of styles, but the first dress that she tried on remained the favorite throughout her appointment. The first gown that she tried was a mikado ballgown with a soft sweetheart neckline and delicate cap sleeves.
“I ended up with the first one I tried on! I really did have a feeling that it was the one when I stepped in front of the mirror,” she recalled. “Even my sister in law said that I looked so happy in my dress.
Emily said yes to the dress by Sareh Nouri. She paired the elegant ballgown with an organza bow from Lis Simon and a cascading horsehair-trimmed veil by Sara Gabriel.
“It was such a great experience where I felt supported and excited from start to finish!” she recalled about her experience.
Emily advises brides-to-be to remain present on the wedding day! “It’s a day you will only experience once, and everyone is there to celebrate you and your spouse, so enjoy it to the fullest extent!” she said.
After the outdoor ceremony, guests moved inside at the venue for the reception. Emily shared that her favorite part of the wedding was the bridal party entrances to the reception! “Each bridesmaid and groomsman came out on to the dance floor with their own entrance with AC/DC’s Thunderstruck playing,” she said. “It was something I’ll never forget.”
The couple honeymooned in Jackson Hole, Wyoming! “Going in the winter was so beautiful,” said Emily.
We were honored to be a part of Emily’s special day! Congratulations to the happy couple!
