Happy Friday, Brides! Our real bride, Abby, recently married to her college sweetheart, Patrick! Abby’s best friend and maid of honor grew up with Patrick! They were on the same kindergarten soccer team and went to school together through 8th grade. Abby’s maid of honor set them up after thinking Patrick was cute! They tied the knot on a rainy November day last year with their closest family and friends!

Abby’s Wedding

Abby and Patrick married each other on November 21st, 2020 on their 5 year anniversary! COVID changed their original wedding plans from a larger wedding to an intimate ceremony and dinner with their close family and friends! “Our wedding day was truly perfect. We had our closest friends and family with us. It was cold and rainy but we bought some last-minute umbrellas and we got some beautiful pictures in the rain. It was low-key, low-stress, but so intimate and beautiful. I got to marry the perfect guy, and in the end that is all that matters!”

Abby’s Dress

Abby wore a simple, elegant Theia gown on her wedding day! Abby’s fit to flare crepe gown had a classic high neckline and a beautiful open back! We asked Abby how she knew she found her perfect gown, “I picked the first dress I tried on! I saw it featured on Fabulous Frocks Instagram page and knew I had to try it on. When I came out of the dressing room, I did a little wiggle/dance in the dress and it was as simple and beautiful as I had imagined.”

“Don’t overcomplicate things! I spent a year planning a large wedding down to the T, and we ended up with the most simple, beautiful, intimate wedding day due to COVID. I wouldn’t have changed a thing!”

Special Memories from Our Real Bride

“Our wedding was seriously slimmed down due to COVID-19. We went from a 250+ guest list to 25 people. In lieu of a big reception, we had a nice intimate gathering at a restaurant in Briarcliff. My maid of honor compiled short video clips sent in by our friends and family members that couldn’t be there, and she created a video reel for us to watch while we were at our wedding dinner. We had no idea she had planned this, and it made us feel like everybody could be a part of our big day.”
