Happy Tuesday! We’re back with another Real Bride story and this time, we’re catching up with our real Fab Frocks Bride, Sydney. Sydney and her husband Aaron got married at a refurbished police precinct called Five Event Center in Minnesota. Their industrial venue was the perfect mix with their soft colors and decor to create a modern, boho event.

“Aaron and I met in college at Winona State University through two different groups of friends: my roommate, and our co-workers at Culver’s. We were friends until people from both groups asked why we weren’t dating already. Three cats, a house, and a wedding later, and the rest is history.”

Sydney’s Wedding

Sydney and Aaron got married this past fall on November, 5th, 2022! We asked Sydney to describe their perfect day: “Our wedding was the best day ever! Aside from having the perfect dress, the rest of our vendors also helped us to have the wedding experience of our dreams!” Be sure to check out the complete list of Sydney’s vendors below!

Sydney’s Perfect Dress

Sydney got married in a strapless, fitted gown by Cizzy Bridal. It had a plunging sweetheart neckline, and an intricate beaded lace pattern throughout the bodice and onto the skirt. The sheer bodice and lightweight fit-to-flare skirt helped accomplish the laid back, elegant, and fun vibe she was going for!

“I had the perfect dress shopping experience! My mom and I loved that we had plenty of time to shop and a stylist helping us the entire time! Additionally, Fabulous Frocks worked with our budget and helped me find and pick the perfect dress by going off of my Pinterest board and feedback while trying on dresses. They helped me pick between two dresses at the very end by asking which dress made me feel more bridal — simple, but effective. We picked “the one”, and with a veil to complete the look I knew the dress I chose was perfect! I absolutely loved the experience.”

Sydney’s Special Memories

We asked Sydney to share some of her favorite memories from her and Aaron’s special day: “Some highlights of the day were making a Moscow mule together as our “unity ceremony” and having my younger brothers DJ the reception with a playlist my husband and I created together for the day. According to our guests, we had the “best wedding food ever”, as well as a late night walking taco bar from Green Mill Catering. We started and ended the wedding weekend in a rented suite of the modern and spunky Moxy hotels. It was the most magical day and our family and friends are still talking about how fun the wedding weekend was.”
