Hi Brides! Although COVID has thrown a wrench in so many wedding plans, our Fab Frocks brides are making the best of it! Our real bride, Maddi, recently married her new husband, Jake! Maddi and Jake met in high school and they love to travel! Maddi said some of her favorite memories with Jake are when they travel together and get to explore new places! The newlyweds were married on May 2nd, 2020 in an intimate backyard wedding! Sarah Dean Photography was there to capture their special day!

Maddi’s Wedding

Maddi and Jake were planning on having a larger wedding at a beautiful indoor venue, but COVID changed everything! They were one of the last two people to get a marriage license before the courthouse was shut down! Maddi made the best of the circumstance and had a small, intimate wedding with immediate family in her in-laws’ backyard! To make sure their other family and friends could see them tie the knot, they held the ceremony over Zoom! They even had a drive-by parade to celebrate! 

Maddi’s Dress

Maddi wore an elegant and romantic Jasmine Bridal gown on her big day! The simple chiffon skirt was flowy, lightweight, and had so much movement! Her gown also had a fully beaded bodice with thin straps, a plunging neckline, and a low back! We asked Maddi how she knew she found her dream dress, “I found myself comparing each other gown to that one, so that was how I knew it was my favorite and the right gown for me!”

“Even if it doesn’t go the way you planned, it can still be a magical day! You won’t remember the things that weren’t exactly right but you’ll remember the special moments together and the love and support from others!”

Special Memories from Our Real Bride

Although their day wasn’t exactly what they expected, Maddi had so many special moments from her wedding that she will remember forever! Maddi had several personal touches to her wedding, like the arch her dad made for her, complete with her and Jake’s names! Maddi said her favorite memory was reading their vows which they wrote to each other!
