Happy Friday, Brides! Our real bride Lindsey recently tied the knot at a stunning beach wedding! Lindsey married Beau, who she met through mutual friends! Beau’s best friend and Lindsey’s best friend started dating (they’re married now!) and introduced them to each other! They were each other’s maid of honors and best men! Lindsey and Beau love to travel, which sparked their interest in a destination wedding! Some of their favorite spots have been the Amalfi Coast in Italy and the Philippines where Beau proposed! 

Lindsey’s Wedding

Lindsey and Beau always dreamed of a destination wedding where they could celebrate with their closest family and friends! Their wedding was on Hilton Head Island in South Carolina! It was the perfect location for their intimate ceremony! 

Lindsey’s Dress

Lindsey wore a show stopping Lazaro mermaid gown for her beach wedding! Her dress was covered in a unique pattern of glitter and had beautiful beaded straps! Lindsey’s dress was a part of our ready-to-wed collection, which means she was able to take her dress with her the same day as her appointment! We asked Lindsey how she knew she found her dream dress: “As soon as I put it on, I knew! I had tried so many dresses on that day and none were unique and stood out to me. I had given up at lunch and thought about cancelling my appointment at Fabulous Frocks. But, they had taken the time to send me photos they picked out for me on Instagram and I was excited to go. This one sparkled so much and it sparkles even more in person!”

Advice from A Real Bride

“Host a welcome reception for your guests the night before your wedding! When you’re busy taking pictures/cutting cake/etc. on the day of, you’ll have peace of mind knowing you’ve talked to each guest already. The little things don’t matter as you probably won’t get to see it. I didn’t even see the food table till I got photos back so worrying about what decorations went on it now seems silly!”

Special Memories from Our Real Bride

We love when brides are able to have sentimental details in their wedding! Lindsey and her husband were both able to incorporate special touches into their wardrobe! “My earrings are made from extra crystals from the straps of the dress. I also gifted my mom a pair of earrings made from the straps as well! Beau wore a gold angel pin given to him from his grandmother who passed in June and I wore a ring from my Nana.”
