Hi Brides! Our real bride, Justine, recently married the love of her life, Grant! Justine and Grant officially met in college at UMKC but they realized they actually went to high school together and never met! “We went to the same high school in St. Louis, however, our class was so big that we never crossed paths! After a few months of dating, we also found out that our families lived only a few blocks away from each other! So crazy how life brought us together.”

Justine and Grant have made so many memories together over the years but one of her favorites was their first cruise! “We had no access to the internet or cell phone reception so we had the opportunity to just spend time with one another and enjoy each other’s company. It was the most fun and relaxing trip for the both of us!” We are so excited to share their beautiful wedding and to show off Justine’s fabulous dress!

Justine’s Wedding

Justine and Grant tied the knot at The Vow Exchange Chapel in Liberty, Missouri in front of their closest friends and family! After their intimate ceremony, they had a gorgeous dinner at Pierpont’s at Union Station! Justine said she ultimately wanted something very simple and intimate with just immediate family and loved ones with great food and drinks!

Justine’s Dress

Justine wore a stunning White April wedding gown. Her aline dress has beautiful leafy lace that cascades down the train of the gown! Justine loved the plunging neckline and low back on her gown! We asked Justine how she knew she found her dream dress, “I definitely did not expect to have that “moment” when I went to go try on dresses. I must have tried on at least a dozen dresses before I found mine and as soon as the zipper was set, I just knew. The tears came, which definitely surprised me, and I just had this overwhelming feeling like this was the dress I needed to walk down the aisle in.”

Advice from Our Real Bride

“I honestly cannot stress this enough, but it is you and your future hubby’s day and not anyone else’s! Do what makes you happy and stop trying to please other people. In the end, everyone will just be happy celebrating the happy couple.”

Special Memories from Our Real Bride

Weddings are filled with special memories and we asked Justine what a couple of her favorites were! “It’s hard to choose just one! I’d have to say my favorite memory was our first look! Not only was it so special to have that special time between the two of us, but it was even more memorable when we caught our bridal party sneaking peeks too.”

Another favorite special memory of Justine’s from her wedding day was her mom helping her into her beautiful gown! “She was recently diagnosed with breast cancer earlier that year and the emotions I had knowing how fortunate I was to still have her with me on this special day was like nonother.”
