Real Bride: Annie’s romantic June wedding

Hi Brides! We love catching up with our sweet Fab Frocks Brides and hearing all about the wedding day. Today we are so excited to share the details of Fab Frocks Bride Annie’s romantic June wedding!
The Details
Annie’s romantic June wedding took place at Riverwood Mansion in Nashville, TN. Annie described her ceremony space as a “beautiful garden wedding”! The couple held their cocktail hour inside the mansion, and then celebrated with their guests in a tented reception area.
“I have been collecting blue and white ginger jars since middle school to use as centerpieces for my wedding,” Annie shared. “It was so cool to finally see them used!”
Annie described her day as being “romantic, joyful, and charming,” and reflected on their day as being “full of laughter and dancing”.
The Dress
Annie came to the boutique in January with her mom, sister, friend, and mother-in-law.
“The dress I picked out and the dress I had always thought I wanted were very different,” she recalled. Annie describes the feeling when she put on the one as “I just felt beautiful,” and “it could not have been more perfect!”
After trying a few other A-line styles, Annie tried this beautiful A-line by Jenny Yoo and she had found her frock!
Annie shared some advice for brides who are looking for their own dream gown…
“My advice for future brides is to focus on the vibe you want your wedding dress to give off, not the specific attributes it has, like skirt type or neckline. Be open to trying something out of your norm. Find something that makes you feel beautiful and something that lets you shine, not something that overpowers you!”
The Wedding
When reflecting on her favorite part of the day Annie shared that it was at the very end, “we sat at our sweetheart table for some of the last song and just got to watch all of our loved ones having fun together. Everyone gathered there to celebrate our love and that was a memory I’ll never forget!”
Annie left a note for future brides, “On your wedding day, stick with your husband! The day goes so fast and is so busy it can be easy to get distracted. We stayed together throughout our reception, and it was the best idea!”
The couple honeymooned in Costa Rica getting to explore the jungle and enjoy the beach! “It was a much needed rest after a crazy busy few weeks!” she said.
