Our greatest joys as bridal consultants are helping you find your dress (of course!) and then hearing all about the wedding after the special day! Today we’re sharing all the details of Fab Frocks Bride Covington’s dreamy June wedding!

The Details

Covington had a dreamy and intimate ceremony at the beginning of June. “We held it in the beautiful, green, and plush backyard of an AirBnB in Franklin, which created the perfect romantic atmosphere,” she shared. The bride added that the weather was perfect on the wedding day.

The ceremony was attended by about twenty five immediate family members, which made the day “so special and close to our hearts,” Covington said.

Haley Hays Photography photographed the day, while The Flower House of Nashville provided florals for the dreamy June wedding.

The bride described the day as intimate, enchanting, and unforgettable.

The Dress

Covington came to the boutique this past February. She was looking for something timeless and elegant, with a touch of modern romance. “It was important for me to find something that was both comfortable and breathtaking,” she said.

Covington tried on a variety of styles. During the appointment, she and her family spotted a detailed fit to flare by Lillian West on the rack that caught their eye.

“Finding my dress was a magical experience,” she continued. “The moment I saw it, I fell in love with its beautiful low back.”

The gown featured 3D floral appliqués, a plunge neckline, and a low back. In addition, the dress included detachable tulle shoulder bows!

Covington loved all of these details but wanted to add a sleeve, so her consultants pulled detachable sleeves from Lillian West that perfectly paired with the gown! The best thing about the sleeves? They came with two separate pieces — a fitted lace sleeve, as well as a flowy chiffon bishop sleeve, so Covington could have multiple looks for the dreamy June wedding!

“I was so grateful for the team at Fabulous Frocks helping me add the gorgeous, changeable flowy sleeves. It was perfect for our intimate ceremony, making me feel like the classic bride.”

Advice to Brides

Covington advises brides-to-be to keep your focus on you and your spouse on the wedding day.

“Remember that your wedding day is about you and your partner,” she said. “Don’t get caught up in trying to please everyone else. Marry your best friend, and make choices that make you both happy!”

The Wedding

The bride shared that one of the highlights of the dreamy June wedding was the desserts! Cookies and cake were provided from local bakers. “They were such a hit, and we are still savoring the delicious leftovers!” she said.

Triple Crown Bakery provided the wedding cake, while the cookies came from Sugar Drop.

A Franklin native, Covington also shared how special it was to get married in the town she grew up in! “The setting in the AirBnB’s lush backyard added to the overall charm and made our day feel like a romantic fairytale,” she said. “It was so lovely getting married in the town I grew up in. It felt so full-circle and flawless.”

The couple is planning a honeymoon for early next year. “We’re hoping to explore the stunning Amalfi Coast in Italy, a destination we’ve always dreamed of visiting together!” she said.
