Happy Friday! We recently caught up with our real bride, Justine! Justine married her husband, Marc, this July! Justine and Marc met in Kansas City at a country bar. They danced all night and ended up exchanging numbers. She lived in Iowa at the time, and he lived in Kansas City, but the pair started to date after a few months of texting and calling each other. They drove almost every other weekend to see each other between states (for a year!) before Justine decided to take the chance and move to Kansas City, and the rest is history! 

Justine’s Wedding

Justine and Marc became husband and wife on July 10th, 2021! We asked Justine to describe her wedding, and she described it as: “My wedding was elegant, simple, and classic.” Their ceremony was in a gorgeous catholic church in Dubuque, Iowa. The elegance overflowed as they moved to a renovated factory, with exquisite exposed beams and beautiful brick walls for their reception. Absolutely stunning!

Justine said: “My favorite memory on my wedding day was sitting at the head table with my husband during dinner, and just talking to him and looking around and feeling the love all around us. Just feeling so grateful that all these people who we love are here for us and celebrating our love. It was the best feeling.”

Justine’s Dress

Justine wore a glamorous Cizzy mermaid gown! We asked Justine how she knew she found the perfect gown, “Going into my dress appointment at Fabulous Frocks, I had the intention of just wanting to “look”. I knew the dress I wanted would be a mermaid style, something to show off my silhouette. When I put on my dress that day I knew it was the one. It hugged everything just right. I felt so beautiful in it. It was classic and elegant, everything that I wanted!” Her gown was a stunning satin material that fit Justine perfectly, and flowed down to a beautiful tulle skirt that screamed glamorous! Justine said before finding her dress that she wanted her gown to have drama, and boy did her dress deliver! Gorgeous!

Advice from Our Real Bride

It’s common for brides to say time flew by on their special day! We asked Justine to share advice to future brides, after having experienced her dream day. She said: “My advice for future brides is to take a moment on your wedding day with you and your husband to take it all in and enjoy the moment.” Such a memorable moment that will last forever, and let brides feel the love that is surrounding them!
