As bridal consultants we love hearing all the details about our brides’ special day! Today we are sharing all the details of Victoria’s dreamy September wedding!

The Details

Victoria had a dreamy and timeless ceremony in mid-September. Victoria shares that although their wedding was during the weekend of Hurricane Helen, they were able to make the most of the day and celebrate regardless of the weather! “Our wedding felt magical despite the rainy hurricane weather. We were so blessed that it did not out a damper on the celebration and party!” she shares.

The ceremony took place at Holy Family Catholic Church. The reception was held at Ravenswood Mansion, which was special for the couple because the bride grew up across the street!

The Dress

Victoria came to the boutique this past August looking for a clean and classic fit to flare. “I knew for sure that I wanted elegant and classy. I loved the look of the sleek plain white dresses that were form fitting,” she said.

Victoria reflects on her appointment she shares, “The girls at Fabulous Frocks were amazing the day I found my dress.” She fell in love with the beautiful, classy fit to flare by Rings. Victoria was able to make the gown even more special by adding a touch of her mother’s wedding dress to her special look! She shares, “we went to a seamstress who was able to deconstruct the top half of my mom’s wedding dress to become a lace overlay for my ceremony.”

Advice to Brides

Victoria advises brides to have fun with the dress choosing process! “Don’t let it stress you out, and do not let the pressure of trying on dressing in front of people get to you,” she adds.

The Wedding

Victoria shares that her favorite part of the day was seeing all of their hard work and planning pay off, and enjoying the day with loved ones!

When asked to describe her day in three words, Victoria shares, “dreamy, timeless, and lively”.

The couple went to Cancun the Monday after their wedding. She shares, “We were blessed to have beautiful weather while we were there to enjoy each other’s company and our new phase of life together!”
