Real Wedding: Sarah and Daniel

March 31, 2026

There’s nothing we love more than hearing the stories behind the dresses 🤍 From the moment you walk down the aisle to the little in-between moments you’ll remember forever, every wedding day is completely unique and so is every bride’s journey to finding the one. That’s why we’re so excited to start featuring our Fabulous Frocks brides, sharing real stories, real experiences, and all the heartfelt details that made their day so special. We hope these glimpses into their weddings inspire, encourage, and remind you that your day can be exactly what you want it to be! Today, Sarah and Daniel are sharing their wedding day with us, and we can’t wait to share it with you as well!

Tell us about your wedding day!

Daniel and I got married on June 14, 2026, at the Old School Nashville (also known as Juniper Green for their catering). It’s just north of Nashville on the way to Ashland City. We fell in love with the outdoor garden area and vintage-style bar in the Wade Hall; it felt like a perfect combination of elegant ambiance and natural elements that fit our personalities well. The catering team at Juniper Green is also well known for their food, and, being foodies ourselves, we knew we wanted to prioritize a stellar menu. All of our guests said the food and drink were incredibly delicious and really made our wedding memorable.

My other vendors included Steph Olson Photography, Amanda Wrinkle from Eleven Ten Events, and Desmond and Jermont Newsom from D&J Productions. Our rentals came from Please Be Seated by Curated Events; the cake and desserts were from Eva Diva Sweets; I rented some faux flowers from Something Borrowed Blooms and purchased bulk flowers to DIY bouquets from Fifty Flowers. Hair and makeup was by Indigo Beauty Collective. Daniel’s suit was custom-made by Richard’s Bespoke, and my dress was, of course, from Fabulous Frocks!

Your experience finding the dress!

When I started thinking about purchasing a wedding dress, I knew I wanted the process to be as seamless and stress-free as possible. I chose Fabulous Frocks because I knew they had a large variety of beautiful dresses within my price range. While I had a general idea of the style I wanted, after describing my wedding aesthetic and likes and dislikes, my stylist pulled a few more options, one of which ended up being my final pick! My appointment went so smoothly, and I was able to purchase a dress off the rack that fit almost perfectly. My dress was a fairly simple design, but my favorite details are the lace back and long train. I think the combination of the classical silhouette and lace details fits right in with our wedding venue and overall vision. Plus, it was super comfortable to wear all day and night!

Share some advice for future brides!

This wedding is for you and your partner! Don’t let others’ opinions overwhelm you; there is literally no single correct way to plan or host a wedding. What matters the most is how you feel, sharing your love story, and celebrating your relationship with your guests. As for some tactical advice, make sure you trust and get along with your wedding coordinator/planner. They are a treasure trove of industry knowledge, so don’t be afraid to ask questions from the people who do this on the regular.

Any fun or meaningful touches you’d love to share about your day?

Some of my favorite parts of the wedding were the small personal details we incorporated. I designed all the stationery and graphics, and even made a personalized crossword puzzle for guests to play during cocktail hour, as well as custom coloring books for the kids in attendance. My heels had green-and-blue embroidery as my something blue, and my mom made a locket with photos of my grandparents to wrap around my bouquet. Both mine and Daniel’s maternal grandmothers passed away before the wedding, so we had their pictures framed and the front two aisle seats reserved in their memory. Our pets, Sushi and Mr. Bento, even made a special appearance as the names of our specialty cocktails and as the muse for our guest gift: custom Richter Wedding koozies.

So thankful to have Sarah as part of the Fabulous Frocks family! Thank you, Sarah and Daniel, for sharing your sweet love story. Congratulations on the best chapter in life!
