How did you pick your wedding dress?

I always knew I wanted a simple yet elegant dress but it was not until I picked my venue that I knew what I was really looking for. I wanted a dress that completed my vision of the whole feel of my wedding. Before I started dress shopping I flipped through Pinterest like most people do these days to find some inspiration. I took those photos with me to my first appointment. I showed Amy my dresses and she literally pulled my dream dress right off the rack. I knew then that it was the one. When I tried that beautiful Theia gown on my whole vision of my wedding day came to life right before my eyes. I could see myself walking down the aisle in this dress to the man of my dreams. It was pretty evident to everyone that I knew this was the one. I tried a few more on just to be sure and I couldn’t stop thinking of the first one. I never would have guessed that the first dress I tried on at my first appointment would be the one but it was!
Any Advice For Future Brides?

When it comes to picking a dress go with your gut. Everyone will have their own opinion about your dress but the one that really matters is your own. If you love your dress and you feel beautiful in it thats what matters. I knew that I was going to have to love myself in my dress. I did not want to spend my wedding day picking at my dress or feeling uncomfortable. I wanted a carefree dress I could feel confident and beautiful in. When it comes to your big day just enjoy it. Things will inevitably go wrong but you will be the only one who knows it so don’t stress it because at the end of the day all that matters is you marrying the love of your life. Soak up every second of your day because it goes by so fast.
