Happy Friday, Brides! Our Fab Frocks Bride Brynn shared with us about her stunning autumn wedding, and we’re so excited to share all the details with you!
“We got married at The Chapel at Firefly Lane located in Dickson, TN. The Chapel is a gorgeous, open-air chapel. I fell in love with it for it’s natural beauty!”
The couple chose multiple vendors who they knew personally. Vendors for the day included:
Venue: Firefly Lane Events
Photography: Josephine Adair Photography
Videography: White Acre Films
Catering: Zander’s Wood Fired Pizza
“I knew I absolutely wanted sleeves and something comfortable enough to wear for a whole day,” shared Brynn. “I was honestly extremely stressed about finding a dress because I tend to be really picky with clothes and of course I wanted the perfect wedding dress.”
Brynn planned for a vintage and bohemian style wedding. Therefore, she searched for a gown to fit that style.
“My appointment at Fabulous Frocks was only my second appointment. I found my perfect dress in a long-sleeve, full lace, fit to flare.”
Brynn wore a fitted long sleeve gown by Wtoo. It features a geometric lace pattern with scattered sequins to give it a subtle sparkle.
“This dress was so soft and stretchy, which was unlike any other lace dress I had tried on.”
Brynn shared that her favorite part of the gown was the sheer back, adorned with pearl buttons. “It is so simple, yet so beautiful.”
“We kept our ceremony intimate and only invited family, which was really sweet and special,” shared Brynn. Afterwards, friends joined the fun for dinner and dancing.
Zander’s Wood Fired Pizza catered dinner. The restaurant is local to Dickson, TN where the wedding was held. Pizza was made fresh on location at the venue. Following dinner, Zander’s provided five flavors of homemade ice cream for dessert.
“It was the best ice cream I’ve ever had!”
Additionally, instead of a traditional guestbook, the couple chose to rent a rotary phone from After the Tone. Guests recorded voice messages, which Brynn and Braden received a few weeks after the wedding.
“It is so special to have all of our loved one’s voices from our wedding day that we can always go back and listen to,” she said.
“Instead, we did a “first Mario Kart race”. We are both competitive people who enjoy playing video games together. Neither of us really cared to dance in front of everyone – it felt like too much pressure. So we took the pressure off ourselves and made it fun!”
The couple left for their honeymoon a few days after the wedding, vacationing in Iceland.
“Do what makes you and your partner happy! The day is about you and your relationship, let your wedding reflect that.”
Throughout the planning process, Brynn and Braden spent time considering what details were important to them, and how the wedding reflected their love.
“At the end of the day, we had the most beautiful, unique, and fun wedding. It fully encapsulated who we are and we actually got to enjoy every moment of the day.”
The couple achieved their goal of a fun and happy day. “Don’t stress about what other people expect or what they will like. Everyone will have fun as long as you and your partner are happy with your big day.”
Congratulations, Brynn and Braden!
