Allison & Ethan’s Special Day

Happy Thursday! We recently caught up with our real bride, Allison! Allison and her husband met in college at the University of Arkansas (woo pig!). They started off as great friends for the first three years, but in their junior year, it just clicked! The rest is history. Read more about their perfect day below!

We asked our real bride Allison to describe her big day for us: “Our wedding was big because our families are big! The wedding was at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. We didn’t have any flowers at the ceremony since it is already so ornate. We took pictures and rode around in a party bus (so fun) while others went to the guild and played yard games in the garden. 

The guild was decorated simply- lots of greenery with some white and cream flowers. We had music going all night long and everyone danced for hours, and a photo booth which was a big hit. I always envisioned everyone just being together and having a great time!”

Allison’s Dress

Allison wore a stunning, aline gown designed by Zavana Bridal! Her gown had unique beading and floral appliques on the bodice complete with floral details throughout the skirt. We asked her how she knew she found her frock: “I knew it was my dress when I just kept coming back to it. It made me feel beautiful and it was so unique.”

Special Memories from our Real Bride

Allison and Ethan’s favorite memory is too sweet: “We had a last dance with just Ethan and I. We danced to Neon Moon (which we wanted to be our first dance, but it is about being sad and lonely!) We shared a dance to this song while everyone else went outside for the exit and it was very special.”

Advice from Our Real Bride

Allison’s biggest piece of advice was to “eat dinner privately with your partner before everyone else! It was so special to share that personal moment together and gave us time to make the rounds while everyone was eating (which helped us enjoy the night and dance the night away)! “
