Real Bride: An Elegant and Adventurous Wedding

January 20, 2022

Happy Friday! We recently caught up with our real bride, Morgan! Morgan met her husband, Kyle, while they were both working at Scheels and they got married last September! She has since moved on from the company, but Kyle is still working there in their new city, Colorado Springs!

Morgan’s Wedding

Morgan and Kyle became husband and wife on September 4th, 2021! We asked Morgan to describer her big day for us: “My vision for our day was simplistic and elegant while making sure everyone had a great time. We were able to spend most of the night with our guests which was so amazing to spend time with everyone that travelled so far to be with us. It was nice to enjoy the laid-back atmosphere of our day and had a blast with our guests!”

Not only did Morgan and Kyle have their dream wedding with their friends and family, they also had an ‘adventure day’ and shot some really awesome photos with their photographers!

Morgan’s Dress

Morgan wore a beautiful, White April fitted gown! We asked Morgan how she knew she found the perfect gown, “When I was trying on dresses, I knew I wanted one that had a champagne color to it. I was trying on one dress in white, and my stylist pulled the dress I ended up picking to show me the color I could put on the dress I was wearing. When I saw her walk in with the dress, I said “let’s take this one off and try that one on” and I never looked back!”

Advice from Our Real Bride

“My advice for future brides is to not worry too much about every little detail. People aren’t going to remember if the small details don’t work out the way you originally planned. Also, keep it simple and true to who you and your fiancé are! You want the day to reflect you and your relationship.”

Special Memories from Our Real Bride

“We had a couple sentimental details on our day! Kyle’s mom passed away in March 2010, so to honor her, I surprised Kyle with a patch on the back side of his tie with his favorite picture of them together. Also, the center stone on my ring was given to us by his aunt and uncle (who are his godparents), who received it from their grandparents. I am now the third generation to wear the stone, and our great-grandparents actually immigrated from Italy with the ring.”
