Tell us a little bit about the wedding!

The wedding day was perfect! In the morning, it was chilly and overcast, and we were a little worried about rain.

But then the sun came out right as we did our first look, and it was such perfect timing! The wedding ceremony took place in the greenhouse at our venue, and it was beautiful. Our reception was so much fun as we danced the night away with our friends and family. My coordinator, Kristina, and other venue staff were amazing in helping things go as planned. Huge thank you to the vendors who made the day perfect!

Describe your wedding day in 3 adjectives

If I had to pick 3 words to describe the day, I would choose beautiful, intimate, and fun. 

What were you looking for in a wedding dress, and how did you find your dress?

When shopping for my wedding dress, I knew I wanted either an A-line or a mermaid style, with a little bit of sparkle.

My appointment with Fabulous Frocks was the first I had scheduled to try on dresses. With it being my first, I didn’t know if I’d actually find my wedding dress that day. Mandi picked out a variety of styles to begin with, and ultimately, we narrowed it down to a few I really liked. I tried on my favorite dress one more time, and I just knew it was the one. It was such a fun experience, and Mandi was so sweet and patient with me!

 Favorite part of the wedding?

My favorite part of the wedding was marrying the love of my life and celebrating that day with the people we love.

Did you honeymoon/where?

We did our honeymoon right after the wedding, and we went to Maui, Hawaii. It was so beautiful and perfect for the occasion.

Advice for future brides?

My advice to future brides is to enjoy the planning process as much as possible. While it can be stressful, all the hard work and decision-making will be worth it. Ask for help when you need it. And finally, when the wedding day comes around, savor every moment, because the day goes by so fast!
