Hi brides! We love getting photos from our brides and hearing all about their special day. Today we are reflecting on Olivia’s romantic October wedding!

The Details

Olivia and her husband got married in October at Firefly Lane in Dickson, TN. The ceremony took place in an open air chapel in the woods. The bride adds, “It was so gorgeous!” The day had a 1920’s speakeasy theme! The drinks, music, and decor all matched this theme.

Madison Smith Photo & Film captured the day in photography and super 8 film. BJ the DJ kept the party going, and Twist of Lime provided bar services for the night.

The bride would describe her day as “intimate, glamorous, romantic”.

The Dress

Olivia came into the boutique last December. She was originally looking for something simple, elegant, and classic. “I already had the vision for using my mothers dress as my cape veil a which would be the focal piece, so I wanted a dress that didn’t compete but compliment the floral and lace patterns,” Olivia shares.

She adds, “I found the PERFECT dress!! I hadn’t even seen myself in the mirror but I was already crying and smiling ear to ear, I just knew it was right.” Olivia looks absolutely beautiful in her fitted and elegant gown by Jenny Yoo. The added cape detail from her mother’s gown added the perfect touch to the overall look!

Olivia shares that her favorite part of the day was the couples last dance at the end of the night. “It was so private and romantic and the best way to close out an eventful and busy day.”

The couple honeymooned in New Orleans, and Olivia shares that they were able to go on airboat tours, ghost/cemetery tours, and eat wonderful food!
