Happy Friday, brides! We recently caught up with our real bride, Kaylie, about her fun summer wedding! Kaylie married the love of her life, Spencer! The couple met while working together at The University of Kansas Rec Center in college! Kaylie was technically his supervisor! We are so excited to share their beautiful wedding photos!

Kaylie’s Wedding

Kaylie and Spencer tied the knot on August 7th, 2020 at Abe and Jake’s Landing in Lawrence, Kansas! “One of my favorite memories of the day was the father-daughter and mother-son dances! After a little bit of the song to ourselves, we invited other father-daughters and mother-son pairs to join! It was such a sweet moment to see and share. I would recommend it to anyone! Another favorite part of mine was the first look. During and after the first look, everything gets so real! My nerves were really calmed down when I was able to see Spencer and enjoy the day along with him.”

Kaylie’s Dress

Kaylie wore a breathtaking full lace a-line Jasmine gown with a high neckline and low back! The gown also had a fun surprise: pockets! Her gown was elegant and timeless, just like she wanted! We asked Kaylie how she knew she found her dream dress, “It just felt so ME! I didn’t want to take it off and just knew I couldn’t love any other dress more. I always compared the other dresses to it.”

Advice from A Real Bride

“Set a time on rehearsal day where you are done making decisions, and appoint someone else to make any future decisions. Once the rehearsal or day before comes along, it’s time for you to sit back and enjoy your dream day!”
