Real Wedding- Mr. and Mrs. George

June 9, 2026

Tell us about your wedding day (vendors, location, special details!)

We got married on my grandmother’s farm in Kingston Springs, TN. My husband and I want a more rustic, ranch-style ambiance, so it was the perfect spot for our special day! It was so beautiful to reflect on the special family memories that the property held, culminating in the wedding! My husband and I really wanted the wedding to reflect our personalities, and we tried to make even the little, mundane details feel like us. Some fun touches for my wrangler of a groom and me were that our drinks were named after famous cowboys, and our table seating was named after our horses over the years! Our most fun addition to the evening was a mechanical bull that really got our guests into the rodeo spirit, coupled with live bluegrass and line dancing!

Your experience finding the one

My dress was actually the first one I ever tried on, and I just couldn’t help but gravitate back to it! My grandmother saw it in the window and immediately requested I try it on, and everyone could see by my face, it checked all the boxes of everything I wanted. I knew I wanted my dress to have some vintage lace applique, to capture that romantic, timeless feel. I also loved the softness and slight rustic charm. The staff was so attentive in listening to the details of what I wanted and helped me feel like a bride in the dress. I knew it was the dress by the peace I felt in it and the anticipation of walking down the aisle in it!

Advice for future brides

My advice to future brides would be to stay present on your wedding day and try not to stress about little details. When you get to marry the love of your life, all of those factors seemingly fade away, and the reason for the wedding is to kickstart your future with your spouse and celebrate with the people who have championed you up until this point! Also, find ways to reflect you and your partner in the wedding, that feel personal and make you excited about the foundational memories in your relationship and what is to come!

Your favorite moment from the day

My favorite moment from the day was riding my childhood horse down to the ceremony and seeing my husband’s reaction for the first time. We did not do a first look, so all the nerves and prayers were anticipatory for that moment. I had dreamt of riding a horse in my wedding since I was a little girl, and knew I had to when my husband affirmed he would love for his bride to ride a horse. Seeing the pure emotions on my husband’s face made the whole ceremony, and I was just grateful that we were able to start our life together.

Any fun or meaningful touches you’d love to share

There were so many moments from our day that felt immensely personal and special, but one of the most meaningful touches was that my husband’s parents sang the same song at our wedding that they had sung at their own wedding. We also did a branding session where my husband and I branded our initials into a picture frame, with an iron cast, that is hanging in our house to signify sealing our covenant in front of God, family, and friends!

Thank you to the amazing vendors!
